Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 4 pitas
- Romaine
- Feta for topping
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 2 tsp dry basil
- 2 tsp dried mint
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- ½ tbsp granulated garlic
- ½ tsbp granulated onion
Tzatziki
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 bunch dill, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- ¼ cup grated or finely diced cucumber
- 4 oz feta, crumbled
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat the Big Green Egg to 400°F/200°C and allow the plancha to heat up.

In a small bowl, mix together the seasoning spices and set aside.

Prepare the tzatziki by combining yogurt, the seasoning mix, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl. Stir in the chopped herbs, feta, and cucumber.

Take the remaining seasoning and combine it with the ground lamb.

Divide the lamb mixture into four portions and press each portion onto the back of the pitas.

Cook the pitas on the plancha, pressing the meat side down firmly for 2-3 minutes. Flip them over and cook for an additional minute.

Remove from heat and top with a dollop of tzatziki, shredded lettuce, and any other preferred toppings.
